Despite the language barrier, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I remember remarking to my fiancee how clean and pleasant the dining area was, much more comfortable than the average side-of-the-road lunch stop. The set menu item of a plate of smoked meats, black bean soup, and tortilla chips with pico de gallo and salsa was only 200 pesos for two people and well worth it. Also, the habanero sauce is very, very, very spicy.

Loved this place! Very good food at a good price. Other reviews say they don’t speak English - which is pretty true - BUT you ARE in Mexico and they speak Spanish here! Not to worry- just download google translate and use the app and you will be fine. Glad we stopped here.
